POSITION DESCRIPTION

Color Of Change is looking to hire a Digital Strategist for our Digital team. RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Write compelling emails, SMS/MMS, stories for newsletters, and web copy for fundraising, engagement, and advocacy campaigns, and help reactivate inactive email list members
•  Closely track engagement analytics to understand what messages and tactics are working, and how they can be improved
•  Support online and mobile user experience of Color Of Change members; execute tests to improve it
• Manage our member email inbox
• Manage our SMS inbox
• Contribute to our testing and learning database
• Coordinate across internal teams to ensure that our members are receiving timely, up-to-date information
• Provide digital strategy for C3, C4, and PAC campaigns
• Create and track digital ads to amplify Color Of Change campaigns on various social media platforms, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS 

• At least 1-2 years of digital marketing or campaigning experience.
• The right candidate will have a strong mix of the following:
• Strong writing and oral communication skills
• A strong racial justice analysis and a commitment to centering and uplifting Black joy
• Digital campaigning experience, and - if none - strong attention to detail and a track record of learning new skills and tools quickly
• An analytic mind and a curiosity for data-driven online organizing - previous experience with this is a BIG plus
• Ability to work nimbly in a fast-paced environment, regularly beating deadlines and setting/exceeding expectations

The salary range for the Digital Strategist position is $65,000 - $69,250 per year.  This is a full-time, exempt position. Color Of Change also offers a competitive benefits package.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Working at Color Of Change (COC), you should be prepared to work remotely and/or in the assigned office location when hired. This position requires working core hours, Monday - Friday, on a laptop for most of the work day and additional time as required by job duties. We are not offering U.S. visa sponsorship for this role.
