The Role
We are seeking a District Consultant- Technical Support Unit (TSU) to provide technical advisory support to Odisha Rural Water Supply and Sanitation (RWSS) department by implementing In-Line Chlorination (ILC) devices across various districts and blocks in the state with the main aim to build government familiarity with ILC technologies, establish operational readiness, and create evidence for future government-led scale-up.
The District Consultant will be the nodal field lead ensuring smooth installation, testing, and monitoring of ILC devices in assigned district/blocks.
The District Consultant will report to the Manager, TSU (Program Operations), and will be required to work closely with district and block officials for implementation and O&M of ILC Devices. The District Consultant will oversee the installation, operation, and coordination of their designated sites, as well as community engagement activities around them.
The District Consultant will be responsible for training district and block officials, undertake Community Engagement activities to GP functionaries, responsible for maintaining updated, and high-quality internal data on device and sites to provide accurate and timely program recommendations.

Position Location
This is a 6-month contractual role, with the possibility of extension up to 1 year based on performance. The position is based in Cuttack, Odisha.
We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an Indian employment visa at this time. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in India for roles based in India.
Consultancy Fees: Competitive and commensurate with the individual's credentials, experience, and previous pay scale.
