Studyportals is looking for a Research Analyst for the Analytics and Consulting Team, based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands
Studyportals has innovated the way universities around the world recruit international students. Every month, our platforms receive a million visits from students around the world, searching for the right education. This makes us the most popular study choice platform worldwide.
The Analytics and Consulting Team (ACT) advises and assists universities and other organisations in the higher education sector to realise their ambitions in the field of international marketing and international student recruitment. Our areas of expertise are Analytics, Consulting and Training.
We are looking for a Research Analyst to play a key role in delivering high-quality market research, analysis, and insight-driven projects, both client-facing and internal. In this role, you will combine research expertise, analytical thinking, and data storytelling to help universities make informed strategic decisions in an increasingly competitive global education market. You will work closely with consultants, project managers, and fellow researchers, contributing throughout the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility assessments at proposal to final client delivery.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with complex data, translating insights into clear recommendations, and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders alike. This role is based in our Eindhoven headquarters, located in the old Philips Clock building, on Strijp-S, an exciting hub of entrepreneurship, technology and design. As an international company our main language is English and proficiency in the Dutch language is not required.
The Challenge
You will contribute to and lead projects that draw on:
- Desk and field research
- Advanced data analysis
- Compelling data visualisation (primarily using Tableau)
Your mission is to empower our clients – predominantly universities around the world – with deep market insights and strategic guidance. Leveraging our extensive database, you'll enable these institutions to strategically position themselves in the global educational landscape. Over the years we have built a unique data pipeline that allows us to carry out market analyses and combine these with our strategic consulting services to deliver unparalleled value to our clients.

- Thought Leadership: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop thought leadership content that strengthens Studyportals’ position as an authority in international student recruitment
- Operational Development: Contribute to the ongoing development of the team’s methodologies, workflows, and client engagement practices, including training junior members that join the team
