About the Team
The team consists of project management professionals working with matrixed teams to deliver results for our members. You will be part of a team that delivers impactful initiatives and projects on areas such as Climate, International Relations, and Capacity Building, working with outstanding people.
About the Role
• Support the delivery of Advocacy projects via effective planning and process techniques.
• Coordinate the development of project documentation, including project plans, risk and issue logs, meeting documentation.
• Provide best-in-class service to Advocacy matrixed teams. Assist with monitoring and reporting on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and data collection and provide procurement assistance as required.
• Provide scheduling support for GSMA capacity building courses and moderate online sessions.
• Support the coordination of various global Mobile Operator Taskforces.
• Give Project Management support to the team around the launch of annual reports, delivery of GSMA events throughout the year building knowledge of the various stakeholders and international organisations we engage with.
About You
• A working level understanding of good project management practices and processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to build effective business relationships.
• Uses a range of communication methods effectively, including email, instant messaging, telephone, and face-to-face conversation.
• Maintains a flexible hands-on approach and the willingness to learn.
• Good office IT skills, at least including Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Shows enthusiasm for the mobile industry and an interest in the focus of the Advocacy portfolio.
• Takes ownership of own responsibilities and seeks to proactively develop their role and skills.
