The Associate Administration position will assist Field Manager in district level in carrying out all administrative related initiatives. The position will provide general help as and when required by members of Room to Read Bangladesh. This position will report to the Field Manager. Primary responsibilities include assisting in maintaining all aspects of the organization’s accounts and administrative initiatives. The position will have regular interactions with all staff and this position is based in Narail.
Book-keeping of financial transactions in field office
Preparation of Comparative statement (CS), purchase order (PO)/contract and submit to Project Manager for review and recommendation/approval
Ensure Material Distribution to listed schools of upzillas
Petty cash management
Follow up on Office Cleaner & Security Guard
Visit frequently to program schools for providing administrative support
Field level procurement, warehousing, inventory management and distribution
Maintenance of field office
Local level transport coordination
Staff Movement Register Management and Access Visitor Register Management
Field level event management
Banking transaction for Program and Indirect
Other tasks, as required.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in commerce/business administration (Masters preferred)
Minimum 3 years of working experience in administrative position.
Experience of working with NGO is preferred
Good interpersonal skills and a team player
Relevant computer-operating skills and relevant software
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Prior success working closely and building relationships with diverse groups of people
Effectiveness in working or volunteering in a non-profit organization that is focused on maintaining high quality work and low overhead
Prior experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented global or regional organization
Proven track record of achieving results
Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and take initiative
Prior experience living and/or working in rural areas,
Prior experience working with schools, teachers, administrators and government officials
Experience in successful implementation of a wide range of tasks as well as developing and implementing improvements in a prior position
