The role reports to the Associate Campaign Director and is offered at the Associate Manager tier. Candidates based out of Delhi are preferred.  

ABOUT THE ROLE 

  • Plays a critical role on the development of integrated campaign strategies (digital, grassroots, paid, earned, owned, partnerships, influencers etc.) that move people to action and change public narratives
  • Critical role in campaign execution, including developing campaign content (e.g., writing email and social media copy), executing offline tactics and activities, monitoring metrics, and sharing data-driven results
  • Work with Project Leads to  plan and deliver offline and online events, which could include, but are not limited to community meetings; co-creation workshops; roadshows; creative installations; and expert panel discussions with the support of the local and digital campaigner and on-ground partners.
  • Represent Purpose at external events, conferences and meetings
  • Partnership management- identify and build relationships with new and innovative partners including NGOs, entrepreneurs, youth groups, activists, faith groups, educational institutes to strengthen Purpose’s work in the region
  • Oversee the development of campaign content in partnership with the Purpose creative team, including videos, graphics, and digital experiences
  • Develop organizing and advocacy strategies to build and engage communities of supporters in advocacy campaigns; 
  • Developing communications & marketing plans to bring advocacy campaign messages and calls-to-action to target supporter audiences, both online and offline
  • Support in the development and presentation of professional and high quality client-facing deliverables, such as strategy presentations with clear flow and focused recommendations, create clear and defined campaign plans outlining goals, audience, channels, partnerships, timeline etc.
  • Support the Project Lead and Project Manager on consolidation of results, impact, and insights towards reporting back to the client, as required 
  • Support and take up short training and capacity building workshops as part of group activities with relevant audiences . 

This is what a day in the life of a Purpose Associate Campaign Manager looks like:

  • You will be developing advocacy and narrative change  campaign strategies and tactics that shift narratives and move people to action
  • You will be developing organizing strategies and tactics to build and engage communities of supporters in advocacy campaigns
  • You will be developing communications & marketing plans to bring advocacy campaign messages and calls-to-action to target supporter audiences, both online and offline
  • You will be producing advocacy campaign assets and tactics: from writing emails, mastering social media for good to organising engaging offline activities-Whatever it takes -- you'll do it
  • You will be involved in the development of creative content including short viral films, website and digital experience and writing copy
  • You will be working in partnership with a diverse range of groups from grassroots activists, media and some of the world's biggest institutions

 

About You

  • 5+ years experience in community organizing, digital activism, public policy, advocacy or creative campaigns and communication.
  • Proven ability to manage a range of stakeholders and deliver creative campaigns that move people to action
  • Ability to work with project teams under pressure and tight deadlines, and stay organized to get a campaign out the door
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Demonstrable strong analytical and strategic thinking and campaign planning skills
  • Strong teamwork skills, comfortable in a highly collaborative team culture 
  • Interest and some experience in on-ground activities with audiences, digital campaigns and creative campaigns 
  • Proven ability in strategic communications - across creative campaigns, digital campaigns and community work
