Data Visualization Specialist (Asia-based, Remote)
The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) is seeking a Data Visualization Specialist to join our dynamic team in Asia to create high-quality, engaging, and interactive content that supports our research and communications work.
The Specialist will be a creative and analytical professional with strong design capabilities and a solid understanding of digital marketing and audience engagement. They will have a proven ability to translate complex technical and financial data into clear, visually compelling, and platform-optimized content that supports IEEFA’s research, communications, and impact. They will work closely with research analysts and communications professionals to ensure insights are presented in a clear, accessible, and impactful way across reports, presentations, media, and digital channels.
We are looking for a self-motivated multitasker who can work independently without continuous supervision. Working as part of a remote team in Asia, the ideal candidate will be expected to be able to communicate effectively with other members of the team over a variety of mediums (Zoom, G-suite, ClickUp, etc.), be comfortable with raising issues or questions along the way, and provide insights into your work.

Compensation and Benefits
Full-time 12-month fixed-term employment contract with the option of extension by mutual agreement and a market competitive remuneration. Pay rates are also based on education, skill, experience level, and internal equity.
Work Schedule
Full-time, 5 days/week with occasional evening or weekend work as required.
Travel
Some travel is required. All global team members attend IEEFA’s annual conference and regional team retreat.
Physical Demand and Work Environment
Must be able to work for prolonged periods at a computer. Computer work can involve repetitive motion, eyestrain, back, and neck strain.
