This role balances strategic planning with frontline fundraising and works closely with executive leadership, communications, and global program staff to deepen donor engagement and grow unrestricted philanthropic revenue.

The Director of Individual Giving will inherit a strong, high-performing fundraising program and lead its next phase of growth. Reporting to the Global Director of Development, this leader will expand relationships with major and principal donors, cultivate transformational philanthropy, and partner with colleagues across the organization to strengthen long-term philanthropic support for Ipas' mission.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and execute Ipas' individual giving strategy, expanding relationships with major and principal donors while increasing unrestricted philanthropic revenue.

· Personally cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of transformational donors and prospects.

· Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Individual Giving team.

· Partner with executive leadership and colleagues across Development, Communications, Finance, and global programs to strengthen donor engagement and organizational philanthropy.

· Utilize fundraising analytics, portfolio management, and strategic planning to drive long-term fundraising success and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Required

· Demonstrated success securing major and principal gifts, including six- and seven-figure philanthropic investments.

· Experience leading an individual giving, major gifts, or principal gifts fundraising program.

· Proven ability to lead and develop fundraising professionals.

· Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and strategic planning skills.

· Experience developing donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.

· Passion for advancing human rights, reproductive freedom, gender equity, or related social justice causes.

· Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Preferred

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

· Experience fundraising for an international NGO or globally distributed organization.

· Familiarity with global health, reproductive health and rights, human rights, or related issue areas.

· Experience working across multiple cultures and geographically dispersed teams.

· CFRE or other relevant fundraising credential.

Compensation

Salary Range: $144,000–$160,000

Position is 100% remote. Candidates based in United States and Canada are eligible to apply.
