Event Registration Manager

Role
As part of the World Economic Forum’s Global Programming Group, Event Technology Unit, you will be responsible for coordinating member organisations and other stakeholder engagement at Forum activities and meetings. You will assist in the management of invitation and registration as well as the security badge process for main Forum virtual and physical events, including the Annual Meeting. You will also manage at least one direct report and be responsible for improvement projects, strategy, and implementation.
Reporting lines and interactions
The Event Registration Manager will report to the Head of Event Technology within the Global Programming Group and will work closely with Digital Success and IT teams, as well as other staff across the Group and the broader institution. Key operational collaborators will span platform, business, government, marketing, media, security, IT, live production, legal and digital teams.
Breakdown of main responsibilities
Successfully stewarding the Forum’s world-class events providing consistent architecture and delivery services and ensuring that all events meet a uniform standard of excellence
Project management skills including the ability to manage assignments and balance competing priorities while delivering on time
Ensuring that milestones are documented consistently and regularly shared with internal and external stakeholders
Close collaboration with colleagues within and beyond the Global Programming Group and highest caliber of professional service delivery for in-person or virtual events
Effective interpersonal skills including verbal and written communications with internal and external audiences
Developing a strong understanding of the Forum’s mission and aligning the event logistics activities with impact priorities

Preferred requirements and experience
Exemplary Forum Values and Behaviours
At least five to eight years in the position of Specialist, Event Registration or similar role
Attention to detail and experience in high-level customer services and support
Excellent multitasking and communication skills
Knowledge and expertise in digital engagement planning and delivery
Proven organizational and time management skills
Quality oriented; experience in data entry/quality control would be a plus
Experience in training and support for digital products
Demonstrated mastery of digital tools: Salesforce, TopLink, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Languages: English (spoken and written), French (spoken and written), German would be a strong asset
Willing to travel 30% of the time
