Wellcome Trust

Salary: £138,450

Closing date: Thursday 17th July

Contract type: Permanent

Interview dates: W/C 28th July and 4th August

The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation. We improve health for everyone by funding science, leading policy and advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships.

We plan to spend £16bn over the next ten years, funding new discoveries in life, health, and wellbeing, and taking on three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease and climate and health.

These challenges need the bold science we support, but they won’t be solved by science alone.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Talent (Acquisition and Development) to join the People Leadership team to play an active role in helping develop and implement the People Framework, enabling Wellcome become the best place to work and supporting the delivery of the mission.

Reporting into the Chief People Officer the Head of Talent will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated talent strategy that aims to attract, retain, and develop top talent to support the delivery of Wellcome’s mission.

The Head of Talent will focus on enhancing Wellcome’s talent management approach, fostering a culture of growth and excellence to transform Wellcome into the ‘best place to work’.
