Support the management of the Enabling Strategic Alliances pillar of the LGC, systematically integrating Global South perspectives into the pillar’s priorities, focus areas and outputs.

  • Outputs delivered by members of the Enabling Strategic Alliances pillar (articles, reports, podcasts).

Ensure business involvement in, and relevance of, the work in driving practical progress to:

  • Facilitate responsible and sustainable investments

  • Highlight developmentally successful FDI and the policies which enable it

  • Contribute to improving public-private efforts to mobilize and scale private capital for development

  • Help advance dialogue, transparency and principles on economic security policies

Work with community members to co-author analysis linked to Europe’s engagement with the Global South for the Forum’s digital platforms.

  • Number of pieces contributed to or authored.

Assist in developing the Enabling Strategic Alliance pillar’s annual report

  • Publication of annual reports in 2026 and 2027.

Contribute to Europe programme development for the Annual Meeting 2027 in Davos with a focus on ensuring that issues pertaining to Europe’s external relations, in particular with the Global South, are integrated into the programme.

  • Relevance of sessions at the Annual Meeting; sessions with a significant number of participants from the Global South; strength of contribution to overall programme.

Support the World Economic Forum in identifying and leading stakeholder consultations, and delivering sessions related to the Enabling Strategic Alliances pillar of the LGC

  • Number of sessions held at LGC meetings and engagement from participants from outside of Europe with a focus on the Global South. Summary notes and follow-up actions resulting from consultations and sessions.

Contribute to guiding and structuring Forum activities and partner engagement on the linkages between trade, investment, geopolitics and geoeconomics, with a point of departure in strengthening the integration of Europe and the Global South.

  • Development of a clear thematic framing outlining key priorities and linkages. Integration of these themes into relevant Forum activities, discussions and outputs.

Support in developing the agenda and joining monthly meetings with the teams of the Enabling Strategic Alliance pillar’s co-chair.

  • Preparation of agenda inputs and briefing materials. Follow-up on action points to ensure alignment with the pillar’s workplan.
