BCOA (Brand, Campus, Operations & Analytics) Intern    

Position Title:  BCOA (Brand, Campus, Operations & Analytics) Intern    

Location: Remote

Reports to: Sr. Associate, Campus & Brand, and Sr. Associate, Brand Marketing 

Schedule: 20 hours/week, Monday-Friday 

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Per Scholas, a leading national nonprofit advancing economic mobility through technical training, is seeking a BCOA (Brand, Campus, Operations & Analytics) Intern. A successful candidate will support brand and content initiatives, plan and create graphics and social media copy, assist with campus storytelling and materials, and help the team work efficiently and strategically.

The position will report to Sr. Associate, Content & Brand, and Sr. Associate, Brand Marketing, within the Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Department.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This internship is ideal for someone who loves design, content creation, and storytelling, enjoys learning in a fast-paced environment, and wants hands-on experience in marketing, operations, and analytics for a mission-driven organization.

Brand & Content Creation

  • Plan and create social media content and copy in collaboration with the team.
  • Design graphics, images, and short videos to support social campaigns using Canva and other tools.
  • Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and messaging.

Campus Storytelling & Marketing Support

  • Draft content, materials, and copy for campus use, supporting Marketing & Communications initiatives.
  • Assist with campus-based storytelling projects that highlight learner, partner, and program stories.
  • Help create emails and other materials that engage campus leaders and reflect Per Scholas’ impact.

Operations & Project Support

  • Track projects, tasks, and deadlines using Asana.
  • Follow instructions carefully to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Support cross-team projects and special initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Assist with tracking engagement metrics and reporting insights for campaigns and initiatives.

Special Projects

  • Contribute to team-led projects and initiatives as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US

Professional/Technical Skills

  • Comfort or experience with Canva, video editing, content creation, and copywriting.
  • Familiarity with project tracking and reporting.
  • Experience with communication/collaboration platforms, including Google Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to follow instructions, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in marketing, operations, analytics, and impact.

Personal Characteristics

  • Creative, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Collaborative and eager to support cross-functional initiatives.

Compensation

This is an unpaid internship, offering valuable hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities.
