The Policy Intern will partner with members of the policy team to advance the vision of Americans for Prosperity. In this role, you will work in collaboration with others on the AFP Policy team to inform our policy and litigation priorities. The candidate will work with key partners to provide policy research and writing, legislative and litigation tracking, and attend events that further the policy priorities of AFP and Stand Together.

Your Responsibilities Include:- Tracking current federal litigation of interest to AFP and Stand Together
- Produce policy analysis and research material for internal and external audiences, including but not limited to issue summaries, advocacy tools, testimony, op-eds, and other material needed across a wide range of issue sets
- Provide project management and organizational support for policy team projects and products
- Track and summarize federal and state policy inflection points as needed
- Support the grassroots and government affairs teams as opportunities arise (events, etc)
- Assist with drafting policy products, copy editing, and research support
