The Role

This pivotal role within the Office of the CEO (OCEO) focused on architecting and managing the OCEO information ecosystem and portfolio. The role will center around:

  • Information Ecosystem Architecture: Design and manage a holistic and highly effective OCEO information ecosystem focused on information flows within the team, up to the CEO and Chief of Staff (CoS), and out to key OCEO partner teams across GDM and Google. This role is critical in breaking down information silos, creating transparency, and supporting robust decision-making.
  • Forum Governance and Management: Oversee and support high-priority leadership forums. You will act as a strategic partner to the CoS and CEO by advising on agenda priorities, ensuring the right information reaches the right forums at the right time. This includes upholding reporting standards, overseeing agenda collation, and ensuring meeting outputs are documented and tracked for transparency.
  • Continuous Improvement and Optimisation: Continuously review how information flows could be improved, leveraging data to identify opportunities and pain points. You will leverage AI and process improvements to streamline communications, reduce noise, and ensure critical information is surfaced. This includes clarifying roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities, as well as implementing standardised templates and reporting cadences.

The Office of the CEO (OCEO) team works as a tight and lean unit and successful execution requires a high degree of communication, trust, and organisation.

  • Optimize Operations: Identify opportunities to improve ways of working, tools, or processes, ensuring the right conditions exist for pioneering, mission-focused work.
  • Drive Engagement: Foster team engagement by building strong relationships, providing constructive feedback, and challenging established thinking to achieve their full potential.
