Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role can be based in San Francisco, Mountain View or Atlanta, GA.
We are looking for a Supplier Spend Manager to join our Global Strategic Sourcing team and be responsible for overseeing and managing the supplier spend activities of LinkedIn by analyzing to understand current buying trends and behaviors to optimize future spend decisions. This role will be responsible for ensuring alignment with business needs and maintaining alignment with corporate standards with suppliers to deliver goods and services in a timely manner. The Spend Manager must understand all aspects of an organization’s spending habits and applicable forms of payment. This role will also determine the strategy for the supplier spend and which form of payment should be applicable.
Responsibilities:
Spend Analysis: Analyzing spending patterns, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and working to optimize supplier spend channels for LinkedIn.
Supplier Spend Strategy: Evaluate based on the type of supplier spend and recommend the strategy per payment channel (e.g., catalog, p-card, corporate card, invoice).
Relationship Management: Managing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the applicable channels are used to deliver the best result for the organization. This includes monitoring and optimizing opportunities and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Market Intelligence: Acting as a market intelligence provider regarding supplier spend and making recommendations to Strategic Sourcing and Procurement to leverage the recommended strategy.
Supplier Performance Monitoring: Tracking and assessing supplier spend by partnering with key functions to assess compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forming relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on supplier spend and the applicable channel is used while also focusing on compliance of supplier spend.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent work experience in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management (or any equivalent related course).
5+ years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep understanding of procurement and sourcing best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in data reporting, analytics, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external organization.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and market conditions ensuring a responsive and agile spend management process.
Adept in using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and seasoned to present to various levels in the organization

The pay range for this role is $103,000- $168,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
