ABOUT NONVIOLENT PEACEFORCE
Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP) is an international, non-partisan organization established in 2002, dedicated to reducing violence and promoting gender-responsive civilian protection. NP implements unarmed civilian protection strategies, strengthens community-based peace mechanisms, facilitates inclusive dialogue, monitors safety and ceasefire concerns, and provides protective accompaniment. It works closely with governments, communities, UN agencies, NGOs, and the private sector to advance its protection mandate and gender-responsive peacebuilding initiatives.
