The Team
The Foundation Strategy Office is the primary function supporting the creation and evolution of our program level strategies as well as exploring new paths to impact that align with our mission. This includes supporting the CEO, CFO, and Chief Strategy Officer in key accountabilities like strategy development, strategy revision, strategy performance measurement, portfolio management, and special initiatives to accelerate the impact of the foundation.Application Deadline: June 7, 2026, at 11:59pm Pacific Time
As an Associate Strategy Officer, you will work in a hybrid arrangement and will report to the Deputy Director, Foundation Strategy Office. You will support critical strategy projects within the foundation by crafting and implementing qualitative and quantitative analyses, synthesizing and communicating key insights to partners, and managing clients.
You will support the development, prioritization, and launch of new foundation strategies and initiatives for Global Education, Gender Equality, Malaria, Family Planning, MNCH, Nutrition, Philanthropic Partnerships, K-12 Education, Executive Leadership Team, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and many more.
*This role is a 2-year limited-term role.
Your Experience

The salary range for this role is $130,000-$195,000 USD. We recognize high-wage market differences in Seattle and Washington D.C., where our offices are located. The range for this role in these locations is $143,000-$214,600 USD. As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission. New hire salaries are typically between the salary range minimum and midpoint. Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process.
