The Team

The vision of Global Financial & Accounting Services (GFAS) is to provide innovative and scalable global business solutions in accounting, tax, payroll, treasury, procurement, and financial operations while safeguarding the reputation of the foundation and our related entities, with the highest standards of integrity and operational excellence.

GFAS is a team within the Finance organization at the foundation and an important part of the operations function. Operations supports and enables the six program divisions to make investments and to run effectively and efficiently. As a function, Finance employs approximately 200 full-time employees (FTEs). The GFAS tam is significant (45+ FTEs), and continues to scale up to support the increasing breadth and complexity of global operations for the foundation and its affiliated entities.

This position will be based out of the Seattle, Washington HQ

Your Role

The Treasury Manager-LTE is an individual contributor role responsible for executing and strengthening core treasury operations across cash liquidity management, custody operations, donation intake, and internal controls. This role balances day-to-day operational execution with risk management, governance, and treasury project delivery, ensuring accurate cash positioning, compliant custody processes, and scalable treasury operations.

This position partners closely with the Treasury Manager and Senior Manager of Treasury to support global operations enhance banking and custody frameworks, and drive consistency and discipline across treasury activities, including our regional office and subsidiary and affiliate partners.



What You'll Do

Global Liquidity & Cash Operations

  • Global cash positioning and support short-term cash forecasting across multiple entities and currencies.
  • Provide backup support for forecasting, liquidity planning, and treasury operations.

Global Banking & Account Administration

  • Perform global bank account administration, including account openings/closures, signatories, and documentation.
  • Manage bank relationships and ensure alignment with organizational and regional requirements.
  • Maintain bank account inventory and ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulations.

Custody & Investment Operations

  • Custody operations, including trade settlement, safekeeping, and transaction execution.
  • Coordinate securities transfers, stock dispositions, and related transaction instructions.

Global Operations & Donation Flows

  • Support global treasury operations, including cross-border payments and funding activities.
  • Intake and processing of cash and securities donations in coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with donor restrictions, custody requirements, and internal policies.

Governance, Risk & Controls

  • Maintain strong banking governance, including user access, entitlements, and segregation of duties.
  • Support SOX compliance, control execution, and audit readiness.
  • Contribute to business continuity planning (BCP) for treasury operations.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead or support treasury initiatives, including global banking, liquidity forecasting, and process automation.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects with key partners such as, Legal, Payroll, Financial Planning and Analysis, IT, and other teams to support broader organizational initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements with AI, documentation, and scalable solutions across treasury operations.


Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification preferred.
  • 3+ years proven experience in cash forecasting, bank relationship management, and regulatory compliance in a treasury or finance-related role.

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience in treasury management systems such as Kyriba or similar platforms and systems integration to enhance operational efficiency and reporting.
  • Knowledge of key banking processes, such as KYC, bank account management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of investment-related activities, such as short-term investments, portfolio management, and aligning strategies with organizational financial objectives.
  • Familiarity with stock donations, including evaluating and processing contributions and coordinating liquidation and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in cash positioning, forecasting, payment strategies, and internal controls

Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving:

  • Ability to synthesize complex financial issues, be curious and ask questions to help develop actionable recommendations, and implement solutions effectively.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Skilled in building relationships across departments and communicating complex financial concepts to diverse audiences, including leadership and regional teams.

Adaptability and Innovation:

  • Proficiency in applying emerging technologies, such as AI and machine learning, to treasury and financial management processes.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools to optimize treasury workflows and improve forecasting.

Must have unrestricted work authorization in the country where this position is located. The Foundation does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role. The salary range for this role is $143,00-$214,400 USD. We recognize high-wage market differences in Seattle and Washington D.C., where our offices are located. The range for this role in these locations is $157,300 to $235,900. As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission. New hires salaries are typically between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint. Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process.
