Intern - Energy Finance, South Asia
The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Energy Finance Intern to support our research projects. This role involves extensive data collection, data collation, and research analysis using secondary sources, such as reports, databases, and public disclosures. You will work closely with a collaborative team, contributing to key insights that shape strategies and policy recommendations for accelerating renewable energy financing.
The ideal candidate should be patient, meticulous, and have prior experience in collecting and managing data for research purposes. Working as part of a remote team in India, you’ll be expected to be able to communicate effectively with other members of the team over a variety of mediums (video calls, G-suite, ClickUp etc.), be comfortable with raising issues or questions along the way, and provide insights into your work.

Compensation and Benefits
6-month fixed-term internship contract at a market competitive remuneration.
Work Schedule
5 days/week with occasional evening or weekend work as required.
Travel
Some travel is required. All team members attend IEEFA’s team retreat.
Physical Demand and Work Environment.
Must be able to work for prolonged periods at a computer. Computer work can involve repetitive motion, eyestrain, back, and neck strain.
