Intern - New Energy Technologies, South Asia
The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Energy Technology Intern to support our research projects in energy and sustainability. This role involves extensive secondary research complemented by primary research to derive thoughtful analysis and outputs. You will work closely with a collaborative team, contributing to key insights that shape strategies and policy recommendations for accelerating the deployment of new energy technologies.
The ideal candidate should be adept at internet search tools and software such as spreadsheets, presentation decks, and word processors. Further, the candidate should be patient, meticulous, and have prior experience in data collection and analysing data for research purposes.

Compensation and Benefits
6-month fixed-term internship contract at a market-competitive remuneration.
Work Schedule
5 days/week with occasional evening or weekend work as required.
Travel
Some travel is required. All team members attend IEEFA’s team retreat.
Physical Demand and Work Environment.
Must be able to work for prolonged periods at a computer. Computer work can involve repetitive motion, eyestrain, back, and neck strain.
